Our Pre-K class (ages 2-3 years) created their own flower pots. First the teacher teaches them the names for different parts of the plant (flower, bud, stem, fruit and so on). Next students have a chance to identify the parts as the teacher calls them out. This is a fun game for them and reinforces their learning of the new vocabulary and exercises their listening skills.
Finally, it's time to get messy! Students mix and experiment with different colors to create their own flower pots.
New masterpieces are created!
