The Shadow

The K1 class has been exploring the world of shadows. We began our project by looking into our own shadows. We created all sorts of movements and discovered that our shadows followed us everywhere. We investigated other forms of shadows - such as trees, toys, cars and so on. 

Now we are investigating where shadows are made and what they are made of.  The children have pointed out that shadows are not only black in color, but are also found in vibrant colors on a happy day.  "It is made of rain and clouds" - Student S
