Getting one's hands dirty is not always a negative thing. In this case, it is not only a part of learning good hygiene and how to clean hands properly and take care of oneself. But it is also part of our overall school ethos focusing on three major philosophes: "Planet Earth, Mindfulness and Awareness, and Kindness and Autonomy."
Here students participate in their gardening class in a portion of one of our gardens. They planted the sweet potatoes and corn they themselves had grown in their classroom's science center. The students really enjoy working in nature and with nature...and getting their hands dirty!
