The school gardening team trimmed the trees in early October. As a result, a pile of branches were about to be thrown away. Enter the Oisca teachers - it was time to get crafty and get creative.
As the saying goes, "One man's pile of branches, is another's magic wands." Harry Potter would be proud. On Halloween, with the help of our little visitors and friends, we transformed the branches into a personalized magic wand that turns ants into cats, helps one fly, and can shoot fire at the enemies (according to some students). As the kids unleashed their imaginations using the wands, we thank the teachers who used theirs in order to transform trash into treasure.
