Using their international passports, the K2 students traveled all the way to Italy this week.
Upon arrival, the students stamped their own entry and exit visas into their passports.
Following the theme of ‘World Around Us,” the alphabet letter “P,” and number sixteen, the students learned of some iconic foods that are usually associated with Italy. For their Phonics class, they made a pepperoni pizza with their letter P as the pizza shape. Spaghetti and sixteen meatballs were made in their Math class, using yellow yarn for the noodles and brown clay for the meatballs. Proudly show off their fully stamped passport, the K2 students had fun traveling to China, Japan, Mexico, and finally to Italy. They were able to learn a little about culture through their landmarks, icons, and food!!
