Welcome to O.I.S.C.A.’s K3 Programme for 6-7 year old children.
Our kindergarten provides a safe and secure environment for young children. The spacious and well equipped classrooms are specifically designed to encourage positive learning through creativity and play. The Year 2 day starts at 8:00 a.m. and finishes at 2:30 p.m.
The Year 2 curriculum is based on the British National Curriculum. The National Curriculum is the agenda for teaching and learning in schools. It establishes the subjects taught and the knowledge, skills and understanding required for each subject. The National Curriculum is separated into Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4, according to children’s ages. Key Stage 1 is designed for five to six year old children so the children in K3 will be following Key Stage 1, which consists of ten subjects. There are three core subjects, English, Mathematics and Science and seven non-core foundation subjects, Design and Technology, Information and Communication technology, History, Geography, Art and Design, Music and Physical Education.
